Personal Thoughts on Physical Limits, Complexity, City Planning, and Community

The blog now has over 30 articles. Some of them are very brief, but some of them are over 20 pages long, when printed on letter-sized paper. I thought it would be a good time to make some usability improvements. They are:

  1. At the top navigation bar, you will now see a link to a page titled, “Start Here” (https://cityuntangled.com/start-here/). It has a selection of articles and writings to help you get started.
  2. Below the navigation bar is a search engine.
  3. I renamed the Politics page, which contains downloadable PDFs of my political writing outside this blog, to “Extra Politics” to distinguish it from the Politics category. The URL is still the same.
  4. I renamed the Writings page to “Extra Writings” for the same reason as above.

I understand there are issues with color contrast and the way articles paginate at the Homepage. These are too complicated to try to change, so I will leave them alone. In terms of color contrast, most web browsers have reading modes that translate the webpages into simple black text on white background (or vice Verda).

At some point, I might release a printable PDF of the whole blog, but that would take a lot of formatting and editing work. I am still finding typos and grammatical errors in my published articles.
