To give readers a heads-up, I will be putting up more political content, focusing on national political and social issues that could be applied to local politics as well. [Update on 08/19/2025: The following category and link on local politics are no longer there since I merged them into a single Politics category.] Some of the posts under the Local Politics category and writings I upload to the Writing on Local Politics page would cover more local political topics. I will also try to bring some positivity by writing articles that cover educational topics such as where to go to look up federal and state data. For people who want to avoid certain categories of articles, you can go to the Categories page and select the categories you want.
I realize politics is difficult to read and watch because it sometimes reveals the darkest aspects of our nature in public and is full of conflicts. On the other hand, if you don’t pay attention and vote for the wrong person, you can end up with a president who sends soldiers to shut down the legislature because its majority party was his rival party.
